2023 Citroen C4 X Specifications
As the name suggests, C4-X seems to be the upgraded version of the existing C4. Unlike the current C4, the latest C4 X comes in a larger size. Not only that, but the SUV also comes with more of a fastback silhouette. Citroen C4 X 2023 is available globally with various diesel, electric powertrains, and petrol options. However, there is no plan for an Australian lunch so far. A spokesperson of Citroen Australia has confirmed that the current plan of this French automaker doesn’t include an introduction to the local market. Instead, Citroen Australia will keep continuing to work with Stellantis closely. The collaboration is aimed to explore and evaluate the potential introduction of the Citroen C4 X 2023 to the Australian market soon.
Exterior and Interior Design
Speaking about the exterior and interior design of the 2023 Citroen C4 X, it seems to have a similar CMP architecture as the existing C4. Both of the C4 versions even come with identical rear doors. The difference can only be seen on the hatchback-like tail. Instead of making it high like the one on the current C4, Citroen opted to put a longer rear overhang in the C4 X design. Not only that, but it is also completed with a conventional sedan-style lid.
Citroen C4 X 2023: Key Features
The 2023 Citroen C4 X also comes with Advanced Comfort Seat. The feature will allow you to sit comfortably while driving. The Advanced Comfort Seat of C4 X is made of special foam that gives you a feeling of sitting in a snug armchair. Depending on the stress applied, the suspension of Citroen C4 X 2023 works effectively in 2 stages. It enables the SUV to dissipate the energy and absorb hydraulic-stop.
As for the safety features, C4 X is completed with highway drive assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), blind-spot monitoring, driver fatigue monitoring, lane departure warning, and more. As for petrol options, there will be some options available to take. You can choose to buy a 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine. It can generate 74 kW with a 6-speed manual transition. Alternatively, you can buy the one that can generate 96kW with an 8-speed automatic.

The engine might be available with or without auto start-stop tech, depending on the market where you purchase the C4 X 2023. Based on the WLP testing, C4 X of Citroen comes with a range of up to 360 kilometers. When the SUV is in sports mode, it can complete a 0-100 km/h sprint in 9.5 seconds. There will be 39 liters of storage you can find in the cabin compartments of Citroen C4 X 2023. The storage is also completed with various anti-slip surfaces, a tablet holder on the dashboard of the passenger side, and space in the rear center armrest.
2023 Citroen C4 X Release Date and Pricing
As for today, there is no exact date revealed by Citroen regarding the release of the latest C4 X. However; the midsize SUV is expected to be ready on the market in the coming month. Except for Australia, Citroen C4 X will be available for the Middle East, Europe, and Africa markets in the coming months. The lack of information on the release date is the same as the pricing information for the 2023 Citroen C4 X.
