2024 Honda Prologue SUV – the Beginning of the Honda EV Era. The EV trend has made many car manufacturers prepare various EV series for their release in the upcoming years. Honda is no different. This time, this car manufacturer will release a new Prologue series, the 2024 Prologue. The new Prologue will be a joint project with General Motors. Let’s see what this new project offers to us.
2024 Honda Prologue Specifications
Many people that see the spy photo and sketch said the same. The shape reminds them of the new product from Chevrolet, the Chevy Blazer EV. They also carry the EV concept in their design, making people think Honda copied Chevy’s design. But that’s not true. Thanks to the camouflage painting, it wasn’t easy to see this new EV’s whole exterior. Shape-wise, it is similar to the Chevy Blazer EV, a crossover SUV. However, with proper observation, we found many different parts and designs in Prologue 2024.
The 2024 Honda Prologue Design
First of all, the body is less muscular. The 2024 Honda Prologue SUV is smooth without too many accents. The front side also shows other differences. It uses rectangular headlights that match the grille shape. For Honda lovers, you might see it more similar to the Accord than the Chevy. Then, the milder fender design also put more distance from Blazer. Yet, you can still see the shoulder lines on the part of the wheel that has a muscular vibe like Chevy. It is also entirely Honda, with a bit of GM design.
Honda revealed the sketch version of this Honda Prologue 2024 model in May. Then, we also got the spy photos from the testing stage of this car. Other than that, there is no information regarding this model at all. So, we have none if we are talking about the specifications, performances, or features.
Despite the lack of information, we can still grasp what kind of component we will find under its hood by comparing it with a similar class car. Coincidentally, we have the latest Chevy Blazer EV. Here is our prediction or maybe estimation of what this model can do.
2024 Honda Prologue Engine
The drive train will most likely be only two types: the FWD and AWD. Yes, the Chevy Blazer is available in three styles. Other than those two, it also has the RWD. However, Honda doesn’t have that culture. This car manufacturer always leaves behind the RWD drivetrain from their model, except few of their sports cars. Therefore, we expect this new Prologue will also not have the RWD option.

As for its powertrain, Blazer EV would have an SS model with 557 hp and 667 lb-ft of torque. Therefore, we also assume that Prologue will have similar or close to that power output. As for the battery, like Blazer EV, Prologue will have several battery choices with a life span from 247 to 320 miles.
2024 Honda Prologue Price and Release
As for the price, we also assume that Prologue 2024 will have a similar price to Blazer EV. So, it will start at around $45,000. You may have to pay more for the premium version of the Prologue. The release date will be next year, as this model is the 2024 model. We expect the official information regarding its specification and details in 2023 and the release date in the same year.
The 2024 Honda Prologue will become the beginning of many EV models from Honda. As stated by Honda, they are planning to launch 30 EV models by 2030. Two of them are sports cars. So, let’s wait for more surprises from Honda, which could be the best EV in the future market.
